Traditional and Normative Bases of the State’s Political Functionality in Modern Russia

The article considers traditional and normative bases of providing the balance between the state’s political functionality and civil society in post-soviet Russia. Exemplified by one of the most important articles of the Russian Constitution, possibility of different interpretation of the social state’s functionality and civil society potential for public problem solving in contemporary Russia is shown.

The National Security Issue Within the Debate on the Current Constitution of the Russian Federation

The main trends of Russian scholarships on political functionality of the Russian state in post-soviet period are considered in the article. Based on the analysis of the dominant positions about the expediency and possibilities of reformation of the constitution of the Russian Federation, the author substantiates his own conception of law support for prospects of evolution of political functionality of a state as one of the key element of providing stable and dynamic development of the Russian society
