The article is devoted to the study of the ethnic identity of the student youth of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The purpose of the study is to identify the features of ethnic identity among modern students of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The empirical material of the study is based on the results of the sociological survey of students conducted in 2022 by the Russian Society of Sociologists in different regions of Russia, including the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The article contains the results of the opinion polls concerning the way people evaluate public diplomacy potential in Saratov region. The role of mobility of near abroad states’ citizens, as well as networks of personal and kindred contacts in developing public diplomacy practices is defined.

The article is devoted to analysis of the status and development of the competitive environment on the territory of the Saratov region. The paper describes the results of an empirical study based on assessments of the competitive environment the subjects of entrepreneurial activity and population, Saratov. Proposed a set of measures that promote the formation of effective policies and the improvement of the business climate in the region.

В статье по результатам социологического исследования раскрывается отношение саратовцев к информационной безопасности, выявляется низкий уровень информационной культуры,
уточняются проблемы и социальные факторы повышения эффективности защиты информационной безопасности персональных и коллективных компьютерных пользователей.

В статье раскрываются этапы эволюции социальных представлений о счастье, предлагается его социологическая интерпретация. По результатам социологического исследования выявляется
специфика молодежного восприятия счастья, предлагаются его модели, раскрывающие пессимизм, противоречивость, амбивалентность данного восприятия, и определены факторы, которые детерминируют фелицитарные отношения в молодежной среде

В статье по результатам социологического исследования раскрываются особенности политических предпочтений сельского населения Саратовской области, анализируются основные факторы, детерминирующие уровень политической активности селян.
