Foreign Policy Mechanism: Problematic Theoretical Aspects of the Research

Problem theoretical aspects of the study of the foreign policy mechanism have been considered. Approaches of researchers have been offered. It was shown that the foreign policy mechanism is in the form of the political system, which provides the definition of the goals, objectives, priorities and directions of the foreign policy, and the allocation of resources for its implementation. The elements of foreign policy mechanism are divided into constitutional (state bodies) and extra-constitutional (political parties, NGOs, economic structures, public opinion).

Political and Legal Factors of E-democracy in Russia

The article considers peculiarities of formation of e-democracy in Russia. The focus of attention is the state policy in this area: goals, objectives and mechanisms for its implementation. Its main result is the creation of technological and legal preconditions for implementation of electronic democracy mechanisms in political practice. The main disadvantage of its implementation, the author considers the lack of power structures and integrated approach to development of e-democracy, a simplified representation of it as only about new forms of political participation.

Mass Media in the Political Space. The Experience of the Expert of the Rating of Regional Media

The article summarizes the results of the expert survey, dedicated to the comprehensive analysis of the information space. The study analyzed the problems of the media functionality of their position in the media space, building communications with the government and society, mechanisms of formation of an information agenda. Also, based on expert judgment by the authors offered the option of rating the regional media.

Conceptual Bases of Political and Legislative Support for Media Literacy

Certain premises of the key Russian legal documents (i.e. Constitution, Doctrine of Information Security, and Conception of State Information Policy of the Russian Federation) conducive to the media literacy formation are considered in this article.

The Propaganda Factor in the Disorientation and the Split of the Soviet Society and the Collapse of the USSR

The atricle is devoted to considering the functionality and the goal-setting of the propaganda during the period of Perestroika in the USSR. It is also analyzed the changes in the use of the propaganda machine within the policy of Uskoreniye [literally meaning «acceleration»] and Glasnost [literal meaning «publicity»] – the substantive instruments of transformation of all the sphears of the Soviet society.

Conceptualization of the Labor-Peasantry Red Army’s Military Doctrine in the Beginning of the 1920s

The author considers documents pertaining to the discussion which took place in the beginning of 1920s concerning elaborating a united Red Army’s military doctrine, analyzes the main stances and arguments of those who participated in the discussion within the context of finding interrelations between political development and conceptualization of the way the armed forced of the soviet state were reformed in the above mentioned period.

The author considers peculiarities of implementation of primaries as a political technology in contemporary Russia, reveals the main goals and functionality of using it during elections, and pinpoints key controversies and ambiguous consequences.

The Role of the Russian Orthodox Church in the Political Socialization of Young People

In article participation of Russian Orthodox Church in political socialization of modern youth in Russia is analyzed. Characteristics of forms and methods of church youth policy with which the ROC expands are distinguished and deepens the religious influence on youth, at the same time promoting process of assimilation by the person of the values and regulations leading to forming of the qualities and properties allowing to adapt in this political system and to carry out political roles and functions.

The Prospects of Remote E-Voting in Russia

The paper evaluates the advantages of remote electronic voting through the prism of Russian national context, discusses the obstacles to its mass use. The author comes to the conclusion that in Russia there are no legal, socio-political and technical preconditions for the transition to this kind of vote in the near future. The most possible and it seems to be advisable the implementation and deployment of remote electronic voting in remote and sparsely populated areas of our country.

Perception of the State Legal Problems in the XXI Century

The article analyzes the trend in the perception of public opinion in the different historical periods and up to the present problem of «the rule of law». They are characterized by the conditions in which initially primarily a legal problem «state of law» has acquired in recent decades, mainly political in nature.
