The employment of the rural population, providing a stable income and social guarantees, is one of the key factors determining social well-being in contemporary conditions. The article is focused on the comparison the social well-being of rural population with diverse employment. The empirical basis is the sociological survey of the rural population of Khakassia (2018). Industry workers feel the best of all. State employees (education, culture, healthcare) are experiencing some depression, although it is caused by age features.

Economic and Socio-Cultural Foundations of Rural Families’ Social Differentiation

The article discusses the factors of vital activity of the rural population, which affect its social differentiation. The methodological prospects of applying the subjective criterion for evaluating consumer opportunities are justified. In comparison with the objective monetary criterion, the subjective criterion reflects the social differentiation of rural families more accurately. The differences in the structure of everyday life between well-off and deprived rural households are analyzed. The wellbeing factors of rural households were determined.

Strategy of Employment: in Search of Conceptual Justification of Innovation Policy

The paper considered approaches to definition of strategy of employment, one of the most widespread concepts of modern researches of labor market. Features of each approach are described: their key categories, methodological assumptions and turning out typology. Restrictions are specified in application of the described approaches and a way of their overcoming. We show proximity of strategy of employment to other concepts – to the labor, professional, career strategy and we also prove their allocation in independent category in a type of global changes of the sphere of  employment.
