The mechanism of the person’s civil identity formation as a whole comprises, among other things, a patriotic component. The aspect of patriotic education of the young generation in the light of the global situation aggravation in the geopolitical arena acquires a special meaning. Besides, many recent investigations emphasized the need of transforming the new generation’s civil-patriotic education system.

The considers various conflicts connected with a problem of designing and formation of civil identity. Conflict zones, in the author’s opinion, are concluded in various civilization bases Western European and Russian; lack of integrity of civil identity. The author offers research methodological tools – model of research of civil identity in integrity «I-corporal», «I-rational», «I-mental». On the example of modern youth’s civil identity the way of conflict situations diagnostics of is shown.

In the article the author analyzes theoretical and methodological problems of civil society constructing of identity in Russia. Classical civil society of the modern period assumes existence of such components as surroundings (environment – the national and constitutional state, the citizen – the carrier of civil identity showing the civic stand in public space and its aktualizing it in the corresponding civil practices. During a postmodern period national societies are changed into mass and consumer societies. Mass society and civil society can’t exist at the same time.

Статья посвящена анализу проблемы гражданской идентичности, специфика которой во многом определяется характером политической модернизации России. Авторы обосновывают «этатистскую» модель модернизации, считая, что основными факторами ее реализации являются гражданская идентичность и патриотизм.

The article analyzes destruction of unity corporal, rational and mental in the period of a Postmodern that leads to increase of crisis of civil identity. The author comes to a conclusion that transfer of the project of civil society of an era of Modern times and formation of civil identity of this type is impossible in modern Russia. The conclusion is supported with civilization specifics of the bases of civil identity of Russia.

The paper is concerned with specificity of the socio-cultural integration as a tool for resolving ethno-political identity-based conflicts in the North Caucasus. The author considers the principle factors of the identity-based conflicts and emphasizes destabilizing role of the politicization of ethnicity. Among the systemic conditions of the regional identity-based conflicts escalation, the author calls: civic identity crisis, traditionalization, ethnic tensions.

In the article the opposition «we» and «they» is considered (based upon the author’s definition of civil identity) in various sociocultural situations, historical eras taking into account civilization specifics. Splits of society provoke distinctions of degree of formation of civil identity and cause its features. The author comes to a conclusion that social splits and stratifications don’t give the methodical chance to study civil identity as a certain universality. So, the paradoxical civil identity is formed in nowadays Russia.

«этатистскую» модель модернизации, считая, что основными факторами ее реализации являются гражданская идентичность и патриотизм.

В статье рассматриваются факторы, усложняющие процесс изучения гражданской идентичности. Проводится краткий обзор основных подходов и методологии исследования гражданской идентичности по материалам диссертационных исследований российских социологов за последние годы. Описывается авторское понимание специфики гражданской идентичности россиян и обосновывается необходимость особой методологии ее изучения.

В статье дается характеристика особенностей полиса как структурообразующего элемента греческой цивилизации; описываются полноценные граждане полиса как носители
античной цивилизации. Рассматриваются основания гражданственности и гражданской идентичности полноценных граждан. Предлагается авторская типологизация гражданской идентичности.
