The Transformation of Language Functions: Sociological Reflection

The article considers the language functions` evolution in correlationwith society development. Language functions are presented fromthe point of view of various theoretical methodological approaches:behavioral, structuralfunctional, discourse practices, symbolicinteractional, and social constructional. The special role of constructionlanguage function, as the most significant under information society,is pointed out. Some examples of this language function activity inestablishing national states are given.

Legal Consciousness as a Sociological Construct

This article analyzes the phenomenon of legal consciousness characterized by duality. It is a part of individual ideology and a foundation osociety`s legal space. Legal consciousness is studied as a perfect latenmultilevel phenomenon of citizens’ mentality reflecting their identification, the aggregate of knowledge, motivation, values, assessment orelations to the legal reality, the practice of its implementation that regulates the individuals’ daily behavior in legal situations.

Sociological Reflection of the State`s National Policy in Modern Russia

The article presents the comparative analysis of the state`s national policy concept and strategyregarding the efficiency of the realized practices of nation building and harmonizing the ethnic confessional relations at the regional level. The state`s national policyin Russia focusing on the background context of ethnic cultural regulators is considered. The authors’ reflection is directed to defining theefficiency of the most often used ways of obtaining social information.The conclusion is made that Verstehen methodology and ethnomethodology posses serious potential.

Phenomenon of Marginal Religious Identity: Discourse, Structure

The article attempts at sociological and socio-semiotic conceptualization of marginal religious identity phenomenon. On the basis of previous authors’ researches the conclusion of the existence of thee types of religious identity is drawn: standard and confessional, folk-like and marginal, and of two vectors of orthodox identity: «urban» and «rural». The urban vector of religious identity is distinguished by big rationalism, various hierarchy of values and various discourse maintenance.

The Role of Trust for the Inter-National Agreement Formation in Modern Dagestan Society

Poly-ethnicity of the Russian community, intense internal and external migration flows characteristics of the last decades, complex religious processes of the post-Soviet period and a number of equally important factors contributed to the deterioration of the inter-ethnic climate in multinational territories and the emergence of interethnic and interreligious intolerance against the background of a complex socio-economic situation in Russia. The aforementioned factors are an actual problem for the formation, preservation and maintenance of inter-ethnic peace and harmony.

Intellectual Potential Development as a Promising Area of Work with Young People

The article discusses new approaches to the development of the intellectual potential of young people. The peculiarities and distinctive features of youth participation in programs and competitions aimed at the development of intellectual abilities is studied. Age peculiarities of youth intelligence development from the educational and sociological approaches are analyzed. The content of the phenomenon of «intellectual potential of the youth» is considered, and the young people intellectual potential effective conditions realization within the educational environment is identified.

Social Hostility Sociography: “Provoked” Documents Potential

The article is devoted to the issue of interdisciplinary reflection of historically formed local socio-cultural communities in a state of social hostility. Implementation of research tasks was achieved by the involvement and visibility of the Russian state archive of socio-political history Istpart and GNISO collections. The potential of sociography in relation to “coded” information contained in «provoked» personal documents is analyzed.

Social Responsibility in Russian Generation Social Consciousness Dynamics

Each generation has its own specific social (collective) consciousness and its prosocial forms of self-organization of individuals and groups, social movements and organizations. Social responsibility plays an important role in society’s life and self-organization. The author proceeds from the fact that social responsibility means recognizing the need to follow the generally recognized social and moral values, norms, requirements, reflecting the fundamental needs and interests of society by individuals, groups, and communities in their lives and behavior models.

The article is devoted to a panoramic review of incomplete families problems empirical studies results. The dependence of the sociocultural potential of a single-parent family on the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the society social space (regional, ethnic, specific historical, traditional and cultural) is considered.
